This visa allows current or former Australian permanent residents or former citizens to re-enter the country after travelling overseas. It will allow you to maintain your status as an Australian permanent resident on your return to Australia.
This visa will let you leave and enter Australia as often as you want, within the valid period, while maintaining your status as a permanent resident. It is valid for up to 5 years from the date of the grant. At the time of expiry, you will need to apply for another visa to continue to travel and return.
It is advised that you apply for this visa before you leave Australia.
