putting our Bums on Seats so cancer patients can put their Bums on Seats
So
what's this all about?
Bums on Seats Bike
Ride is a mission by 15 mates to buy 4 much needed chemotherapy
chairs for the Sydney Cancer Centre at RPA. We're putting our Bums on Seats to
help make patients as comfortable as possible when they're going through the
enormous challenge of their chemo treatment. The 4 chairs we are trying to buy
will be in the Sydney Cancer Centre until the Autumn of 2013 when they'll be
transferred to the new Chris Obrien Lifehouse at
RPA.
Supporting Prostate Cancer & Depression Initiatives
So
what's this all about?
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of
moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in Australia and around the
world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s
health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. On Movember 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face
and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men,
known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine
moustachery.
